Mrs. Kerr was a perky blond woman who became the pre-algebra teacher at Yancy Academy. She replaced Mrs. Dodds after Mrs. Dodds, who turned out to be one of The Furies was killed by Percy in the museum. Because of effects of The Mist, students at Yancy thought that Mrs. Kerr had always been their teacher.
